I know I haven't even finished my HG off yet, but im toying with the idea of doing a budget hotty. A LC-J 4 door and put a stock 308 and trimatic in it for a little money as possible. Whats the latest legality in doing this in Victoria. Has anyone gone through the engineering process recently?

Iv been told by the RTA tech the rules change early next year, the max capacity will be 3ltr turbo or 4.3ltr na in an LJ in an LC even smaller as theyre lighter.
Im in the same delemer, you can apply for exemption with the RTA
Manager Vehicle Standards Mr. Harry Vertsonis on (02) 9218 6394. Remember, you got his number from the RTA switchboard.
