Did the Canberra PB Tribute Cruise today. Was going to head home, but too many peeps interested in the car, tooting and many a thumbs up. Since so many were appreciative of seeing the car out, I think the best thing any of you can do, is get your cars out and cruise around for both yourself and other PB fans.

Many thanks to Phil, our webmaster. That's going to be one cruise to remember for some time. Bought Canberra to a standstill.

Yeah top stuff pat.. I think that people all over australia realise just what the toranas mean and meant to Brockie.
I am going to put RIP BROCK on the back of the ford for the trip to toranafest next weekend.
We need to get a few more sydney siders organised to head out to thornleigh maccas on sunday for the cruise up to tranafest.. I'm sure that the show will be an amazing memory of the great man.
Cheers and well done to the canberra club.. looks like a great day

hehe just looking at page 2.. you know the funny thing...
You can show a torana by parking it there with the bonnet shut.. but late model cars need to have their bonnets open to attract the crowds! LOL!
Long live the Mighty Torana!

Great stuff Pat. We had a cruise today with the Eastside Cruisers down here, off to the go-karts, so we ended up turning it into a Peter Brock Tribute cruise as well.... a few words about Brocky from our President with a moments silence, and then we departed with all the cars in our convoy having their headlights on.... I felt so proud driving the Torana... so many members of the public stopping to look... we even drove right out in the direction of Brocky's place in Hurstbridge.... a powerful feeling that's for sure.
Chatting to everyone today, and they are all still so shocked and overwhelmed...
Keep on cruisin' guys and girls.

i'm attending a Track day out at Queensland Raceway on Tuesday, i am hurriedly trying to get a sticker made up, the same as the one i saw on one of the TargaWest cars today... something along the lines of a simple white background, with the lettering "05 - we remember" or something to that effect...
if i can't get a sticker made, i might have to dodgey something up out of white contact and a nikko pen

You can contact a guy called Matt (Pothole) on this forum:- http://www.streetrides.org/. He made the stickers that are on our cars. He's asking $10 for them, with funds raised going to the Peter Brock Foundation. Tell him Pat told you about em. Drop him an email.
