hi ive just replaced my plastic rear flares with some fibreglass ones, and im having some problems, you know on the flare part that bolts onto the rear doors, well on the plastic one i just took of there was a screw holding the top in tight to the body, well on the fibreglass ones there isnt and it kicks out a bit, has any body else had this problem if so how did they fix it as its giving me the shits and in my eye its ruining an awesome job :furious:

On my aftermarket flares they have a big deposit of resin or something in the corner. I'm guessing that is for putting a screw into. You could do the same thing, or I've seen cars with home made brackets to push the bottom out. I've also seen people have bent out the corner of the door to hold the flare out.

Cheers
Marty
