Should a 4/73 have the brake light at the top of the facia or would this have still been in the change over period??????

on a serious note Darryn all you guages are dated correct so id say the facia is correct too and being the change over period you never will know what came out of the parts bin, top or bottom light

My 5/73 LJ SL with the orginal cluster, before i stuck the GTR one in.
On another note, does anyone have the little plastic thing the top light sits in they want to get rid of? I have a LJ GTR cluster that i have in my car that i want to convert to top light like my SL had.

did you repaint your silver dash and under-dash bits? they look excellent. I'm going to be repainting mine soon enough.
Is it the same paint code that is used on the silver strips of the tail lights?

Smeer - No i didn't repaint them... part of the reason i brought the SL was it was so clean and orginal 
Having said that i have attacked the LJ GTR cluster with a silver paint pen, with quite good results i think.

Thanks Guys,
I know he had the facia revamped and I`d say he got the wrong one back as the cluster at the back has a hole for the bulb and wire to go through...
