We were early in the line, and attended the service inside the Cathedral, which was good, although you probably saw more of the proceedings from outside/TV, but that wasn't the point.

My missus comes home at 11:15 & sees me on the lounge with tears streaming down the face. First thing she says is " Have you got a welding flash?"
I just pointed to the tv. Big sook me!
Sadly missed, never forgotten.

We also were lucky enought to get inside the church for the service and that experience of being in there with all those people I will keep for the rest of my life and also one day share with my son Brock when he is older.
Thanks Yella SLR (sorry can not remember your name) for saying Hello.
I was also lucky enough to meet Mort and some other of Brockys mates, co drivers and mechanics from the good old days when he raced Toranas and also from the Repco rally days at the pub across the road and it was fantastic to listen to their stories of their times with Brocky over a couple of coldies, could have stayed there all night but had to catch plane home.
All in all I am very glad that I made the effort to go.
Cheers Rob
