What I did was copy and pasted the link into an email and emailed it to myself.
There is probably an easier way though.

Ok once you have downloaded the stuff from my other post you then do this.
You should make a folder on your desktop and call it grabber as the grabber will put all youtube files in there make sure you install all software before you do anymore!!!!!

1 you go to YouTube and highlight the link like I have done in the picture then you go ctrl c
Posted Image

2 Then you open the youtube grabber once it is open go ctrl v in where you type in the url once in there the address press grab
Posted Image it will be blue all the way across when finished

3 You will then have something like one of these files in the folder that the grabber download to so you should have the grabber in a folder called grabber on your desktop as this is where all the files will end up.
Posted Image

4 You can then double click the file and it will play using the player you download earlier called flvplayer.
Posted Image

5 if you want to convert it to mpeg files you use software that you downloaded before called Riva FLV Encoder so double click on that and browse for the file you want to convert.
Posted Image

Where it says destination video file you make sure you change the ext to .mpeg like it is in the picture then you press encode and wait it will then save he file to your desktop or where you have output directory setting set to.
If its a bit pixelated you can change movie size on the right.

Enjoy

hmm ... thats interesting that it used to be called the James Hardy 1000 at Bathust ... great publicity that would be for the motor sport industry these days :D

I get the youtube file running on my laptop.

Then connect the laptop AV out, to the AV in, on my hard drive DVD player.

Start the player and record direct to the Hard drive, edit, burn to disc, finalize the disc, can play it on any DVD.
(You can do the same with video)(Not edit though)

Thats how i've been doing it, not too hard & i have been collecting all clips on the hard drive and created 1 full disc so far.

Also i brought the PB 35 years on the mountain, 2 disc DVD on line from Chevron Publishing recently. $35.00 delivered.
Nearly 2 hrs of stuff.
Not too expensive and best quality.
