hello all i am thinking of selling a car on ebay (my lh torana) and was wondering how much does it cost to advertise a car on there site ?

you will it cheaper on carsales.com.au around $10 .. ebay is listing fees plus $40 upon sale so could cost around $45

You can advertise it on eBay for $5.00. and anyone who is interested in the car can buy it from you OFF eBay.
I always insist that potential buyers view the car before bidding, this is when i would tell them they can make me an offer directly to me.
Alternatively, you can advertise your car for sale in the 'car parts' section instead of just 'cars'. You wont get as much exposure (better than nothing), but it will cost you less than $3.00 even if you do sell the car.
Dont even bother with the trading post website or paper. absolute shit.

A couple of the torana and other car club sites offer free ads, as does www.allclassifieds.com.au canberra based but its picking up exposure nationally. Take any freebie you can.
