Pull a piece of rag up under the handle and the clip should come out HEAPS easy...
As doc suggested push the door trim back and see which way the clip has been put on!

I have in the past used just a skinny wire with a hook bent in the end, and ripped it out with pliers. I don't know why, but fark it is hard on the SL!
I simply can't get the bastards out of the rear. Tiny does that damage it? I don't really wanna lose my C clips either.

THe best thing with the rag is it doesnt damage it.. it just opens up the clip and pushes it off the spindle.
I'm fairly sure the guy who told me... said that usually it stays in the rag too! making it alot easier!!

I have the tool but still no joy. It must be there somewhere. We had a look at Rare spares & the parts book, neither show a clip. Any other suggestions?!
Buggered.

Just to clarify - the tool goes between the handle and the door trim.
