3.8l V6 into Torana

Hey guys , I am looking at putting a VP or the like V6 motor into my torana after i finish painting it and i need alot of details i have looked at the V6conversions site but does anyone have any pics of them fitted and what would I need to put it in? like engine mounts etc... and i will also be running a Turbo 700 and a 9" so i need peoples advice. and also what specific things would an engineerer look at :fool: :blink: Thanks People :spoton: :spoton: :spoton:

besides suggesting to buy a kit and a wreck (donor car and use its diff aswell instead of 9") i cant help you but i will suggest fitting before you paint.

Thanks ALX76 i will be painting before i do the driveline so i will just need to be morecareful and not fumble it in there crashing into things :rockon:

Why do you wanna use a 9", the v6 isnt going to make any where the power or torque that would warrent a 9", a cut down borg warner would be a lot lighter, and take all the abuse from the 6 all day, not to mention cheaper, unless you already have one ready to go in.
Theres no real need to buy a wreck, you can get running vn's for under 1K minus rego, so rip the engine, trans, loom, diff everythin out and then burn the shell.....and video it so everyone can watch later.
