got a lx other day pretty good nic has a opel 4cly auto in it, i got a 253 auto hear wanna put in it before i start just wanted to know a few things i will need to get hold of, my main consern is tail shaft? will it need to be a different one ? if so does one one out hear have one? as far as ther rest goes i feal i should be ok cos the 253 and auto are still in a driving kingswood so got all the bits there, any thing else im gonna have problems with people ?

when you say x or k do u mean the hole sub frame that the motor bolts down to or ?? and is that because of the brake set up on the 4cly ones or some other reason becuase had a look today and looking at my slr5000 shell at a glance it looks to be the same there and looks like it will bolt the 202 or 253 straight in ?? any one hear done it ???? if i do 202 the auto says m40 so that means i will be able to use that behind a 202???

the reason you have to change the k frame/ x member is because the engine mounts on an opel are completely different to any holden engine and the motor obviously wont bolt in

thnxs for you help people i got a nother sub frame from the wreakers the other day and it all good they are defently different, im told the uc 4cy one is the same tho the starfire one is a gower

mmm iam doing this too but to a lh, it had a 1.9l power house in it, i couldnt handle the power so i am putting in a v8 lol, i guess it would be kinda fun/funny to turbo the 1.9l i wonder how it would go.......
any way i got a UC front end for it which i will rebuild
