As some of you Easterners may have noticed, my railway behind my school is being completely teared up (converting to three tracks) and we've lost half of our oval to parking space and living areas for the workers :<_<:

One good part of it is that today I spotted an immaculate Orange LX A9X mockup (well I doubt it's real) with a full cage, nice fat hotwires, droptank and a pretty clean paintjob in the carpark outside my school. w00t now the dickhead ricerboys at my school know what a REAL car looks like. (they always give me shit about lovin Toranas - but that's only until they see one in the flesh; this generation sucks)

Anyway, here she is:

I've never seen a car in my school's carpark stand out so brightly (pic does not do justice of the colour, it is so vibrant!). So yeah, obviously one of the Connex workers has obscenely good taste in vehicles. Is this the one that was sold on eBay quite recently? (from memory that was an L32 SS) and it still has NSW plates (that I have blocked out), so either the owner is from interstate, or the car has recently been bought from interstate.

Anyone know the owner?

Hmmm? SS is just one of the four hatch models:
Sunbird (1.9L Opel 4 pot)
SL (202 or 253 - I don't think 173 was an option in the hatch)
SS (202, 253 or 308)
A9X (308 w/ Salisbury 10-Bolt, modified floorpan etc)

Did I say something in the first post that confused you?

BTW, are you allowed to park it on the oval with the utes etc? I recommend not parking it in the carpark there, or you'll come out one day and it'll be covered in my drool

Between Box Hill and Laburnam station, the one that now has LOADS of construction work happening near it. When you pass it on the train you will see our oval (or what's left of it) and our soccer pitch, the buildings will be further away from you.

It's called Box Hill High (Cnr Whitehorse & Middleborough), and Deb will know what I mean when I say "NOT Box Hill Senior!"

Mmmm what really caught my interest was the way that this car has been painted.

(Bright solid colour with black bonnet and window blackouts is how I want it) is this 2k Timbo? but what makes it unique is the way that the edge of the black bonnet paint curves up the A pillars next to the window seal, instead of continuing along to meet the window blackouts.

In my opinion it doesn't look quite as good, but the advantage is that if you want to run the chromed window trim (not the gutter, the SL trim), it's a way ot keeping the blackouts confined in their areas... So i'm considering doing that to mine later this year.
