G'day all,
newbie here, great site. I have just picked up a very straight old TA.
It has the awseome 1296 engine in it, lol, at the moment and will stay that way till $$ arrive or sense prevails for a transplant.
Anyway it is flatspotting and I believe this is the diaphram being rooted in the carby. Zenith 30 1Z. I can get a carby kit for $48, will this fix the diaphram issue?
Or is there a better carby I can bolt straight on that may perform better.
Also does anyone know if there are extractors available for this motor which may help if a different carby is thrown on. Will try and throw on a pic, and yes it has LC rear lights and 13" mags.
Thanks
Muzza

Yep going that way, will see how it pans out with the kit first.
Thanks

Very neat looking TA mate... my bro will be in envy!!!

EDIT: forgot to post my advice hehe... put a small webber on it mate... much easier to mess around with... and about the same price as the carby kit from the paper...
