tappet ajustment after new head gasket

Hi I have just replaced my head gasket on my 1974 TA Torana
and i need to know how to ajust the Rocker arms, Tappets?
its a 1300 cc motor.
Any help appreciatded

My memory of them says they are wedge adjusters..done with an allen key???

I'll just go on a fact finding tour

Thanks what i need to now is how much to tighten down the valve (pushrod)
covers? Engine is at top dead centre. They are just lock nut holding them in place.

I always did mine on the 1195 LC by ear. I'd tighten to roughly where they were before, start her up and take slack out of any that i could feel movment in, then go through 1 at a time backing off & readjusting by ear, and giving an extra quarter-half turn when you think you have it right, then do the next one. It can be a little messy so put rags down & dont rev it (that gets real messy).
