I think he may be a little dyslexic at the mo. as he has a virus from all accounts, spent yesterday in the hotel room and took no part in the telecast. I reckon it was more like "when the big cuns gome out".

I think it might have been a genuine mistake. His brain didn't decide quick enough between bigs cars and big guns. But I know how it sounded and I laughed.

Cromley has been Crompton's on air nickname for years. Took over from Neils on Wheels and i'll stick my neck out and say Lowndes coined it.
