3.08 is a happy medium and probably easier to find one too.

Sounds like you are enjoying it though. well worth the wait im sure.

makes me miss my torana now!

Well it's finally on the road as of tonight.
I'm so totally chuffed with it!
interior and paint came up better than expected, all my mates were more than impressed, I got alot of thumbs up and even an offer to buy it.
engine feels real nice and strong but the 2.78s kill it, as soon I feel it pulling I realise I'm doing 60km/h and that's in first gear! the overdrive is barely useable even at 100. It's also pretty daunting driving with an inaccurate speedo as I am petrified of speeding fines! Looks like I'm searching for a set of 3.36 banjo gears if anyone's got em?

A few little things need to be touched up here and there but all in all I'm just so damn happy with it!
I will get some pics up soon, promise.
Might not hear from me for a while, I'll be too busy driving :3gears:

Keen to catch up with some other owners soon for a cruise.

hi tyrefryer you got any final photos cheers billywest

a crow 35665 grind.
specs are 280/290" DUR and 214/224 @ 50" and 440"/465" lift.
goes good, but like I said, not matched to the diff gears, doesn't come into the part till i'm doing 50+km/h in first.

I like the pink but not sure if I would drive it in public.
maybe with a thumping 308, 4spd, LSD and black GTR trim

At this stage, I prefer the four door. Interested in seeing what you come up with :spoton:

That's waht it's all about Ken, would you be so kind as to provide those 4 items for me and I'll install them? Did you end up picking up those 308s btw?

me too Heath, the lj needs a floor shift and some disk brakes. Luckily it struggles to go, otherwise it wouldn't stop haha.

But at the moment mum and dad have got a bit of the 'one is enough' attitude and I think one of them has to go.
We'll see.

Sounds good, I'm looking for a pre pollutions block (I'm pretty sure that's QT prefix) so if there is one of those I'll take that.. But I'm sure we'll talk soon.
