L34 are 14.75" Wayne, but if they use the same p/n as 6cyl LH (which they do) it musn't be that one as those aren't bent on the ends apparantly.

Thats right Byron thats the size unless a Qld car and some cars up there had bigger ones fitted but all genuine original L34 fans that i can verify as original are all the same but are different to 6 banger fans

I picked up 4 NOS 6 banger fans 5 years ago at a swap meet in Perth and they are different to the L34 fans that i have seen even if they are the same part no

Which fan blade do you want to do the '73 cutouts to?

Either a standard 15.5" LJ Fan, or a 14 and 9/16" straight fan, of which I only have the curled tip version...
I may just modify a 15.5" fan yet to 14 and 9/16" and then cutout...

Hi, would like to find out if my fan is original for my late July 73 XU1 or something else

thats been swapped out & long gone.

Sorry cant do pics atm

Mine looks like the top 1 in Ken's first pic..

rounded flat blade

tad over 14.75"...(14 13/16ths)

no stenciling to be seen

has only the number "8" stamped into each blade near where they cross & are rivetted.

any help appreciated

Jono

Dave which type of fan did you use to copy your original Bathurst fan cut outs to your spare fan you have made?
