Well after having it sit in my brothers shed for 8 years I finally bought it off him
Its just an "S" 2 dr I believe
Its 82311 but haven't written the rest down yet.
To be honest I haven't really looked at it much yet but it seems to be mostly there
Seems straight and rust free for the most part. Will know more when I wash the dust off
Oh yeah its a 6 of unknown size and has a trimatic in it and some sort of BM shifter
There is a trailer load of spares I haven't unloaded yet including a big booster , spare drivers door , Celica 5 speed conversion (I won't be using) and some other stuff.

Plans are
Tidy up the exterior with a nice wash and polish
Clean the interior and fit everything thats not there yet
Tidy the engine bay and a lil polish on the chrome
Find a set of triples - stromies or SU's prefferred. ( or even a weber manifold and 1 x 40 DCOE- I already have a pair on the racecar that are coming off at the end of the year with EFI going on)
Get it running and rego'd

After that who knows

Average pics included

Another project!! Nice one! Next project will be a 20 car shed! LOL

Will the 5 speed conversion fit a V8 ( 253/308?)... I might swap ya a 3.25 ratio for the 5 speed setup!

Cheers!

Ooooh I know what car that would be used in Tiny.

In that case I might swap ya a wad of cash for the M20 in the SL/R.

No Tiny its for a 6
I also have a Supra kit for a V8
You know how I like to "collect" things
But I have promised the Supra kit to Tinks when we slot an 8 in her blue daily
And Rory is right I didn't buy it......... I stole it

And yes...... I am starting to feel the need for a much bigger shed
Anyone wanna come build me one ?

Good luck on trying to get a shed built at the moment.

I'm still waiting for a brick workshop/garage at home and a bigger one on a little piece of dirt i have.

Probably end up putting the tin one up myself. :furious:

To suit what sort of weber makka ?

And yes it would make a nice racecar
But its too good for that
And the datto would still be faster

Looks like a nice little platform actually, should clean up pretty well by the look of it. Not including those nasty little suprises you always get, :D

Turns out it is an S
Its also got a 179 in the bay
I got a stock strommy today and will try to start it when I next get a day off
Put some squirt down the bores and turned the motor by hand
Its spins freely all the way round so might even run !!

Cars been sitting in the same spot more than 12 months with no progress or inclination to do anything

May come up for sale soon
I've had lots of people express interest in buying it over the last 12 mths but never seen the colour of their money

I will give it a wash and provide more details and recent pics and offer it up here first
If no takers at the price I will drop it on ebay

Stay tuned

Might part with my sedan and SS too soon aswell... TBA
