Dont rush anything just for a drag meet mate! If its a success ( which it looks like it will be) there will be others!

I will be getting the car back on straight gas on monday

Well assuming they have finished the gas filler!

Straight Gas as in Straight LPG and not dual fuel.

And i may have the straight gas mild 202 in as well. That depends how much i can save in the next few months on straight gas.

Heath messaged me to say that he wont be racing.. but defintiely there as a spectator! but that still leaves us with 30 entrants! Not bad people!

Consdering the quite substancial gains (well i think there are some big gains

) from the straight gas setup, i might stick with the 173 for another year or so.

How about creating a GHM-Torana logo with a blank point where we can add our membership id, to stick inside our cars, then every attending members car can be identified.
Would make it easy to contact each other if needed.
I will definately be their with my LX Hatch but only as a spectator & would like to able to identify other members cars.

SPJ: Thats a great idea, and thats something that i'll try to make happen!

Why only as a spectator? Why not give it a squirt down the 1/4?

Remeber that the day is all about fun, there is no pressure to go fast, only as fast as you feel comfortable taking the car! ( i'm talking about being nice to the car as well as driver's abilities!)

Anyway, thats a great idea, and next to name tags ( nickname tags!?!?) i think its a good plan!

Only a spectator?
The car has its original untouched 202 engine with 252,000 K's on it.
I will also be driving it up & want to drive it home!
I know it's not about how fast it will go down the 1/4, anyway who knows i might change my mind on the day, you never, never know!
Might get the bug.

Another option is to get number plate sized magnetic stickers with our user names on them. A local company told me it would be around $40 for a pair, but could do them for $15 a pair if I had multiple orders.

Anyway, what is the projected arrival time for everybody?
