Anyway mate, best of luck with the house hunting, I don't think you'll regret it, especially when the day comes when you can move into your own place. Hopefully I can do the same in the not-to-distance future as well..... As Glenn said, good things come to those who wait. Set yourself up now and imagine what you'll be driving around in 20 years time! For me, I hope it's a HUMMER!
Cheers.
PS. I'm sad to see the A9X go too

Looks like good fun
Shame you couldn't keep the car and still get the house cause you might never get another
But the future is important and this will give you a leg up anyway
Good luck

Maybe I will bring it to the drag day (obviously not as a genuine competitior!) but it would be a laugh seeing it try to drag race a torana!

10 years ago I sold my first SL/R 5000 to buy my first house, I then sold my nice VR SS to buy my second house. I now have another SL/R 5000 and am not moving again!

My daily drivers are a pair of fully imported Japanese vehicles. And I will be competing in one of them at Heathcote.Yeah alright, It's not a torana but not everyone on these forums only owns a torana as their daily! I would bring it along to the heathcote drag day but it would probably be blown away by tyre smoke!

I sold my VR SS to start my business. If it comes to the crunch I'll sell my LX to buy my first house. Beleive me, its the second last thing I'd want to do! (the first would be living with my mum at 30).
Give the bloody Latte a break guys. As girly as it is, I'd rather drive that to work every day than a torana. I drove my torries to work between the age of 17 and 20. It was fun on the weekend, but nothing like getting pulled over on the way to work or running out of fuel coz your skanky guage doesn't work.
