hate to say this :huh:

i rang the car yard up this morning from work

apparently the boss of the yard owns the A9X and its for sale for $65,000

i asked if the price was negotiable, i was ubruptly told in no uncertain terms "that is the market value , take it or leave it"

I hope Sean got at least $60k for it. I honestly cannot believe this. I hate it when nice people get screwed around. I hope this isn't one of those cases. At the same time, if Flamenco wants to keep that private then that is his right so I just hope he didn't get the bad end of the stick.

Sorry to see it go. I hope you are recovering ok from that bloke trying to knock off your parts at the Ballarat Swap meet? What sort of bloke tries to take bits out of your hand like that.... hahahaha

just browsing through the australianmusclecar site and this red a9x has just recently been listed , sounds like the guy bought it to make a few bucks ..

I saw Sean walking along, so I walked up and tried to grab a part out of his hand that he had, he didn't recognise me at first (got the desired reaction lol) if only looks could kill lol. we both had a good laugh after.

I had to expect it might be for sale again (wasn't expecting so soon!). I'm not really bothered! Up to the new owner to do with it as he wishes... Cheers guys.
It was funny catching up with REDA9X at the Ballarat swapmeet, last year we couldn't even find each other! :D

A9X has gone to a very good home. And i didnt buy it..As much as it was hard for sean the new owner will love it immensly. I am sure you guys will see it from time to time. New owners name withheld.But it does still live in Melbourne :spoton:

Hmmmmm,, must not love it that much,maybe not in melbourne for to long?? I suppose thats life.........cheers

if you look close in one of the pics on the australian muscle car site behind seans A9X is a green Xu1,
they want $25,000 for that
