Thanks for the pics, pity I missed out on a great day.. What on earth was the silver hatch.. Looks half commodore and half celica.. With 17 inch clubsport rims... Hmmm, interesting..
Cheers, Julz..

My understanding is the one on Ebay is the same car as the one pictured here. One of Brocks long term sponsors bought the car and donated it to the Brock Foundation. What gets me still is why did this car suddenly appear now that Brock is gone. One it's the real deal and someone decided to make a quick buck, or two it's a fakeand they knew full well Brock would say it's a fake if it appeared. Brock was on ABC before his death holding the radiator support saying it was the only part left of the car and that he was going to rebuild it. All sounds odd to me.

The Commodore hatch thing is an Opel Monza.

Brock imported one of these and fitted a 308 and T5. That car pictured is not it. This looks like one someone imported over themselves and fitted a 308 into.

Was a great day on Sunday, excellent to catch up with everyone and have a pretty relaxing time. The show was extremely well run, lots of variety and cool stuff to check out. It did take a while to fill up, but the oval was quite full by the end.

We ended up cruising out together with 2 LX's, 1 LJ, a HG wagon, VH commo, the EHLIMO, and an EH Panelvan.

Congrats to the EH guys, who scooped the prize pool! The EHLIMO won Brocky's Choice (now Julie's Choice) for the second year running. And the EH Panny took out the Van/Wagon category.

Was great to see a Torrie take out best GM car of the day, it's a sleek engine bay alright.

All in all, we had a great time. I didn't see much of the auction itself. Something else of note was seeing Harry Firth there. 20 bucks an autograph though! No freebies.

Cheers.

Was that a dontation to the Brock foundation? $20 is still a bit steep! Would have made more money if it was $5 each i reckon, more people would have paid that!
