Yeah, worked alright. You can, however, go:

Removing the '$' out of the last bit.

Turbo'd A9X, eh? That'd be a nice little rig for the driveway!

Sorry it's not really clear, first post like this. Just a collection of ads I have collected over time. The one I like the best is the one with Jim Shepherd leaning against the 78 Bathurst winning car - with a sale price of $27K or near offer!

now i don't know who Jim Shepherd is but looking at the photo of the guy next to the A9X i reckon they mean JOHN SHEPPARD! who i believe took over from Harry in 1978 and sold to brock end of '79 according to the HDT history dvd i have.

Also remember saying about the two yellow A9X's "who the hell would pay $21k let alone $29k for a bloody Torana !!!"

I have kept a scrap book with a lot of Unique Prices ads. Yes some very good buys, but back then anything under $20K was snapped up if it was any good. Anything over took a while longer to sell.

I know that Black SS well too.

I have even scanned most of the A9X material from books I have and I am on to my second CD worth.

Good stuff too.

Cheers

Jim Shepherd is the guy who Holden contracted to rebuild the car after bathurst 79, he ended up owning the car, so thats him selling it, not John Sheppard.
