I'm guessing most people have read the last edition of AMC about the Masters in September by now. For those who have not, they are limiting the vehicles allowed inside the circuit this year to the invited Marques only. Luckily, the A9X is one of those featured marques, for this year anyway as it's the 30th anniversary. I am acting as the point of contact for AMC for anyone with an A9X who wishes to attend, so if you have an A9X, or you know someone with one who wants to attend, please contact me so I can add you to the list.

Does that mean that it excludes L34's this year?

REDGOD would love to include any new comers I m' sure.

The A9X association died many moons ago. (years and years ago)

It is now the A9X Club and even then it has changed internally about 2 years ago.

There are soooo many A9X's un-accounted for, it would not supprise anyone if you came out of the closet.

Cheers

Dirty Deeds, I am going to look into this for you, I wondered myself as I'd love the guys with L34s to come along. I'm not 100% sure yet how it's going to work as the club is invited so an associate member with an SLR (as an example) may be allowed. I think however from what I read, invited marques only within the track itself, ie, where our club has been the last 2 years. Individuals and non invited marques are going to be in the pit straight coral. The difference this year is cars in the pit straight coral will be much better accomodated than last year and will be allowed to do laps too.

The Baron is correct, anyone, be they a member of our club or not with an A9X is invited. All they need to do is contact me and they will be added to the list. Just for those people who may be concerned about giving out their details, I'm sure that anyone inside or outside the club who has attended the event the past two years can verify you will have no issues, we only want a good show and it would be nice to see a few new cars come along.

Nor would it surprise anyone if you had an A9X that they didn't know about.

Not that there is anything wrong with that.

How does this line up time wise with the A9X Nationals at Qld?..While we are on that..where in Qld is it?..or is it a rolling type meeting with the main gathering at Carina for judging on Sunday? And am I allowed to bring the MHDT L34?

This is the link to the Nationals, it's on a few weeks after the AMCM. As for whether you can bring your car, you'd need to contact the guys running the show up there, I couldn't say.

This event sems to be getting better and better and I hope it continues to do so. After its finished someone will have to write a report on it. Well at least let me know how the contingent of kiwi cars do from our local racing series.

Time is running out for anyone who wishes to attend with an A9X or L34. I have about 16 cars lined up at the moment, 2 of those are L34's, the rest are split between hatches and sedans. If anyone with a genuine car wishes to be grouped with us, please pm me with your name, adress you'd like your pass sent to (preferably a PO box) and which car you will be bringing, A9X hatch, sedan or L34 and colour before this Sunday

cheers all.

Only a few days to go and I still haven't had a chance to play with my car yet. With a bit of luck I'll have the clutch fixed in the promo car today and I can move on to cleaning up the red beast.
