see you all there....
We are in the big white tent out on the skid pan.
Orange/black XU-1 NSW #26.
Come over and and say g'day..
Spot on about the size of the event Red... The NC field was oversubscribed and had to be split over/under 3 litre cars.
NOTE:.....
Harry Firth trophy race for groupN torana's is the last event on Saturday afternoon and is well worth seeing if you enjoy seeing a gaggle of XU-1's slug it out....
Something to ponder while you are sitting in the stands watching......
Our average speed through turn 1 is around 180kph......
See ya's there!
Cheers Greg..

I'm in garage 22 with the Janson / Perkins car and will have the Promo hatch and the HRT 427 out there as well.
I can't believe they have 20 Group C and 17 Group A cars entered. Jason Richards is in an A9X and Paul Morris is in a bloody Sierra.
If only they would let Group C run on their own and not with the Group A cars - Hopefully next year.

Hey Mick, watch him, he's a bloody good peddler. Saw him at Oran Park a few weeks ago ( in the Little Aussie Tourers ) and he was very impressive ( a bit dangerous, but fun to watch ).Paul Morris is in a bloody Sierra.
Take it easy on Anna in the HDT L34
Go get 'em Torana.
I'll come and say g'day. Will be on the skid pan in the Green L34 ( PRO-l34 ).
Cheers

Car ran well today and posted a 1:50.9 sec lap time...
But broken gearbox on last lap.... so out with the old and in with the spare at 7.00am tommorow morning.
Damn the track is slippery too.... lots of oil down.
Make sure you check out the Kiwi muscle cars, every one of them is the car you would build if yoiu had unlimited time/cash.
There is even a SMP XU-1 racing!!!
Cheers Greg.

A good day for us as well with the final race being a ding dong battle for 8 laps with a GTS Monaro,XU-1(me), XU1 and a Gt Falcoon. 8 laps flat out 2' apart at well over the double ton and not a scrape. A highlight was 3 wide at turn 1 at over 200K's with 2 other XU-1's... I can only hope someone with a camera snapped a shot of that one... classic!!
That was one of the best races I have ever had....
Result 7th out of 43 starters... so yeah we're happy!
New PB lap time of 1.50 as well
Cheers Greg..
