Thanks for that LX, I tried it myself and your right, it does work regardless!

I just dont know what LOOKs best! I dont really mind either way... All caps is ok too! the old GMH-TORANA.COM isnt bad either.. everyone knows the www. these days when it's with a .com!

Just my 2 cents - I'd prefer the sticker to be kept simple (KISS factor) & the font to be the same as the t-shirts. I agree with tiny on the www factor, isn't this a give me anyway?

Great to see the interest & debate, but would proudley dispaly the sticker (whatever it is) on the SLR, SS, Commodore & 2 x beer fridges :spoton:

Oh forgot to add that I'd be happy to donate or buy either way!

This needs a bump...

AND...

We need to keep uniformity. Think of logos you know. All you need to see is the "swoosh" and you know its a nike, The dynamic ribbon on red, its coke. You dont even need to see the wording to know what it means.

We dont have a logo as such, Our logo IS our wording, so whatever font and CapITalISATION we decide on for the shirts should be copied for the stickers.

At this stage that means "gmh-torana.com" will be the stickers.

I appreciate that this is not the winning vote, but it is the second highest and frankly 35 votes out of >700 members sucks.

I thank those members who HAVE voted because they are the members who want to help make this forum the best.

Your thoughts on keeping it the same as the shirts?

Heath mate, yours looks by far better. I really like the 'Tofly' in that font and the black red and white colours. Its simple and it works. Stick with it.

Unfortuantely the idea of having a screen printed sticker wont be used at this stage simply for the cost and time frame of this run.

Were going to go with simple vinyl lettering that reads : "gmh-torana.com" In a few different colours.

OK Everyone.. Ive had some sample stickers made.. and we made a mistake and most the "M" from teh largest size sticker... Were not dyslexic.. i promise

I'll post the finished image in here.. and create another thread on how to put them on, when it comes time to do so!

i reckon the smallest sticker would be best, im not a big fan of BIG stickers, and they attract too much UNWANTED attention
dont need none of that
i reckon i would need at least 4 of these stickers as well

The Small Size sticker is what will be included with shirt orders. The design was made to copy the one used on the shirts ( and web site header)

I always guessed that this would be the most popular size sticker, and we will be making most in this size.

Other sizes will be avialable for those who really want to show off the site, so its up to you!

We will be making primarily white, cause they stand out best, But i will do a run of black ( THey hide well) Red and Blue stickers as well.

At this time we cannot custon order colours other than the above to patch paintowrk or anything.

If these sell well and everyone's happy we'll look at doing other more intricate ones in teh future.

Love the middle sticker for the rear screen and the little ones for the quarter windows
Any idea on price? i would want a set of both. I think the big sticker would go well in black on drop tanks.

i really like the middle size! it would be perfect for my rear windscreen! But when i get my shirts i will definatly be puting the small sticker on!

I Like TUFFs Design too but for this run we have to keep it simple!

By the looks of things the middle size is best, so i may not make any of the monster ones! but i'll be making HEAPS of the small ones and i'll do a few more middle size ones by the sounds.

Pricing... Well were still working it out.. but it wont be far off. Everyone who bought a shirt will be getting a small size sticker with it, so thats a bonus, and sales of the other stickers will happen soon!

Heheh No drama Knoath, Now you see what you took on when you thought you;d help out organising the shirts!

Anyway mate, Not long to go now and all the effort will be worthwhile when everyone here is driving around with a sticker on their car, wearing their shirt proudly driving their torries!!

most sites you dont even have to type in the www. try typing in gmh-torana.com without the www and it goes to the site

yes, but if you want to capitalise "GMH-TORANA" or "GMH-Torana" then the 'www' and the 'com' cancel each other out and centre the weight if you get me.

all sites will go there if you just type in "google.com" or something, I never type "www", but I normally type "http://" because I'm used to it.

also, http://.... makes a link to the site, 'www' does not. Now look what you've done, you've got me rambling on about crap.

When the LX gets registered on CH Plates, I'm getting a custom made super-wog-sized "www.GMH-TORANA.com" sticker for the rear window, and then one of those shiny FOX stickers on an angle too. Ricer stickers all the way, w00t!
