just wondering, is there any writing on the back?
Had a thought, what if you have the web address on the back and save some space on the front so if people want to have their nicknames embroded they can do so in their own time?

I'll have 2 x Medium shirts thanks.

And I'm fond of that nickname idea that Mark suggested before! We will have to decide on a certain font or something if we are getting them individually done. Maybe a group of us from each state could send them together so they all look the same? Merely a suggestion, keep em comin!

I was thinking along those lines too ^.

I think the easiest option to display user names would be the 'iron on' letters that you can buy from a fabric shop like Spotlight or maybe Lincraft...

If you want your names on it organise it yourself after you get the shirt

Don't make it any harder than it already is

Wow thanks for getting organised guys.
Someone suggested sending me an e-mail with your order. I like this idea, as I will be able to check the orders off and keep an acurate record... just so much easier than sorting through pages of orders and comments.

Wraith, about the kids sizes.. I didn't ask about them (even though I'd like a couple for my own tin lids) 'cos I really didn't think there'd be enough call for them. I can ask if enough people want.

LC-069, I think it's been decided to go with no writing on the back.

J+SRacing, Checkout chick..... I ain't gettin' dressed up like that for no-one!!!

Trna76hb, I will get something out of this... seeing all these shirts on people's backs!!

Dattoman, thanks....I agree

You can send me an e-mail at :

[email protected] E-mail Forum Shirt Order

please title it "Forum Shirt" I will make sure the orders already here are included.
51 orders taken so far!!

On the nickname suggestion, I have seen embroidery places at shopping centres that you can get a hat from and they do it infrontof you. I'm sure that they could do yournickname on your shirt if asked for not a great deal AFTER you get it ;)

Just talking about sizing for a minute... You gave us two options... Which one are we going with? Personally i would like ( need ) the larger size as long as the shirt is as good quality! I'd also hate to see people getting the wrong size cause they looked at the wrong sizing chart.

Do we have enough of an indication to go back to the suppliers and get a firm price? Also a look at a few sample shirts and then we could decide on the sizeing system and get some accurate orders for the final money spend?

Bear in mind that we'll have to fork out of our pocket the money BEFORE these shirts get made as no one is in a financial situation to order and pay for shirts without pre-payment.

Cheers everyone, and thanks again to Knoath for the hard work!

You beat me to it Tiny.
My thoughts on the personalising issue exactly.
I have had a request or three Re. swapping the sleeves around, so that the badges are on the "hanging out the window" arm (right side).
If there are no real objections, this can be arranged.

The first supplier I spoke to was very helpfull, and this is the first sizing chart. I know the sizes are on the smaller side at the top end, but I think she's got the better material options and she can get the larger 5XL's too.

Supplier 1 Supplier 2
S-53.5 S-52
M-56 M-55
L-58.5 L-58
XL-61 XL-62
2XL-63.5 2XL-65
3XL-66 3XL-71
4XL-68.5 no 4XL
5XL-71 5XL-79
Large 5XL-79 ($2.00 extra)

I hope this makes it easier to choose.

Looking at the size difference, (it's not huge) I think we can adjust our sizes to suit the shirt sizes,.... there should be a size there for everyone.
I would personally sway towards the first supplier, but I'll check out the material asap.

Top Job Knoath..

i think the express post satchel is the quickest and easiest way of distributing the shirts, and i think that 1 person per state doing so is a good idea

Good idea...not always practical...One I cant drive my torana, two I live 2.5 hours from the CBD...so is not cost affective to pick it up.
Im sure their are others that dont live close to the CBD. Sure you could send most that way but not all.

My personal opinion on swapping the badges around is not to. For the following reasons:

Weve got the website on the left side of the chest.. i dont want it repeated on the left arm too, and we want to advertise the forum! Dont worry.. people wont miss the badges! :)

I'm working at the moment to get a sticker included with the shirts at time of postage in teh price of the shirt ( saves everyone on postage!), and i'll also take orders for stickers while teh shirts are being made so that we can send them too if you order a shirt! ( Again beter for postage)

See the sticker thread and lets decide :)

Cheers!

We're aiming for $35.00 , this includes Shirt, Sticker, donation and Postage incl.
I'd say that's pretty reasonable.

That sounds fine, but what about when I want to buy two? I'm happy to donate twice and recieve two stickers but I don't want to pay double postage. Around $65 or something I'm guessing?

Good point heath, but we have to set a price per shirt and that's it. What about the poor sods in Karratha etc.? You wanna make them pay $80 in postage per shirt? And I'm driving from Crazyburn to Oakleigh just have a look at the material.
I think we just have to set the price and share the love, dude.
It's all for the website's continuation too don't forget, you're not being asked to fork out for my profit, or anyone else's for that matter.
You've got a Pm too.
