Grrrrrrrrrrr, Mechanic forgot about getting the head numbers for me and has now installed the engine. So I will check it out once I get the car home, which was supposed to be yesterday.

Now the slave cylinder for the clutch has shat itself and needs refurbing. Another few days before I get the Torrie home. :furious: Surely nothing else can go wrong !!

^^^^ You Were Bloody Well Correct JBM !!!

The old manifold had a water leak form around the thermostat housing so off it comes and on goes the performer ... Knew I shudda done that from the start !!!

Also, the mechanic put the wrong thermostat housing back on and had to improvise ...:fool: Anyone know of any good Mechanics in Chinchilla ????
