Nope, I didn't make it. It was pouring rain when I woke up so I decided to sleep in as I very rarely get to. Did anyone go along?

Just a few pictures from yesterday ,GTR-XU1 club to Bathurst .A different feel than last year, but a crowd turned up to an over cast dry day .The cops stopped people parking along the wall , but we still got to sign it again .the colours of the cars changed with the cloud cover ,as usual there where three seasons in the one day on the top of the mount.When the Torana's lined up together they looked stunning

Hi Keith,I was there yesterday,in my lj torana,dressrims center caps,we had also with us a ex bathurst driver with us yesterday,her name is sandra bennett,she drove a lc xu1 linamint in the bathurst race of 1970 for the holden dealer team,her co driver was cristine cole,who married fred gibson,First time she went back to the track for the first time in thirty years,and she had a great time yesterday,she was walking around in a old jacket with the holden dealer team sewn on here old jacket,and some oran park ones sewn on to,it was a top day,and there was three fourm members there yesterday,tony2r,threeblindemice,and me,see you at toranafest,cheers,John.

Keith hope you like the photo's ,I had my other hat on ,that was my Humpy ,I have to sell it because I've ran out of room, so I thought I'd give it a run before I put it up for sale ( all grey, Stage 5 head 30-70 cam extractors and triple SU"s) come and say hello at the Fest we will be in the wifes SMP.

Its a shame that we didn't know the other forum members were there, it would have been great to put faces to names.

I admired the red GTR XU1 on the way up even had Sonia take photo's as I was driving behind it and the SMP GTR, but was embarressed to approach anyone I didnt know as I was in my silver two door commondore and not my Torana.
