First time back to the ROM in a few years and as a spectator, a few years ago I was Service managing a P6 Class VR4 Mitso, that won it's class 3 years in a row,so didn't get to watch alot of the stages. So looking forward this year.

There is a full grid of both under and over 3000cc cars with something like 18 toranas in the field!!!!!!. Some really fast cars there.
A bit of inside goss. PI historic for 2008 is in March the week after the AGP. There were so many cars there last year, in excess of 400 and of those over 300 practised on Friday. For the 2008 PI historic the meeting will be held over 3 days Practice and qualifying on Friday and racing all day Saturday and Sunday. The VHRR have dropped Group P,Q, R and Historic Formula Ford for 2008 and it would seem that it will be rotated over the yearrs with a category being dropped to allow the full grids to be filled.
Some of the people from the VHRR are not happy that there is greater leaning to tintops over the purist racing cars.

I'm giving it a miss this year and going to Phillip Island next year instead to get my yearly Group C fix and some shots from a track I've never been to before.

Could I have about 5 3.08 LSDs and 12 axles for banjos at the Sandown Meeting this weekend?
Look for the Yellow LC 2 door with the 308 (Is it really?) V8 in it..Ask for Ron..he is a generous man and will take all said items off your hands.. Trust me!
Over to you RRS!! Hahahahaha!
