you think you've got problems...You got to go to car shows when you were 8 and 9? My family is so lame.
My Dad owned a farm machinery dealership. you want to know about Fiat tractors - you come to me.
My entry into motorsport (drawing a long bow here) was a Heavyweight Round Bale competition run by the local apex club. Heaviest bale of hay on the day was the winner.
We were the 'Factory Team' for Feraboli Balers and we were well and truly the underdog.
We won and a 'privateer' using one of our balers came second.
The Apex guys (most of whom entered using JD balers) were so disgusted that they never ran the event again......

My love of cars and motor sport came from watching TV and going to events with mates who's dad's had an interest. Can't forget my uncles L34 either (sold many years ago now), that was a great car.

We both agreed, the first trip any child of ours has in a car (ie on the way home from the hospital) will be in a torana. No better way to start things IMO.
I honestly can say i cant wait to start my own little tuggers on cars. (although it will be a few years before i have any)
My brothers GFs little girl is a hoot, when she was a couple months old i had her watching car DVDs and cacked myself every time she grabbed hold of a finger, and started changing gears with it and clutching with her left foot. (artistic licence used)

Thats a good point! My GF's first trip in a torana was the day she was born. Her dad drove her mum to the hospital when she was about to give birth.... That torana is now her torana... aka WILDUC! We have a pic of her in her baby seat in the back of the car. I wish my torana had been in my life right from the beginning! We both agreed, the first trip any child of ours has in a car (ie on the way home from the hospital) will be in a torana. No better way to start things IMO.

Just be careful what you show them. I have had a couple of close calls in the shed. My boy, who is two, loves copying everything I do. he saw me using a hammer on a spare wheel so went to use it on the good mags. he then saw me spray paint an old door so he picked another can and went to do the same on my pride and joy....aarrrgghh!!I honestly can say i cant wait to start my own little tuggers on cars. (although it will be a few years before i have any)
