xu1six,
If you live in Sydney,
I can offer you my services.
You can try F9 idles
If not, I would suggest you have a specialist take a look.
John.

Sorry xu1six,
I'd like to help,
But when there is no apparant problem, It really needs to be looked at.
Everything looks ok with your jetting, so it cant be too much of a problem.
Maybe too high fuel pressure? and float level too high would cause fuel bleed through the emulsion tubes. F2s have a lot of holes high and low.
If you can borrow some 45 f9 idles and F16 emulsions, it might help.
But I would look at fuel pressere first. Your not running a Holley pump are you?
about 2.5 to 5psi is plenty.
John.

maybe try checking that your throttle blades are fully closed at idle as well and not open 1/2 a turn or so, as is the case with all other carbs.

I can agree..........45 F 9 idles are what I use and they are perfect for my set up.

And make absolutely sure that the throttle blades are closed SHUT all at the same time in your mechansims before tuning/balancing etc.

There is almost shut and there is SHUT.

Cheers. I cant beleive that screwing out the mixture screws makes no difference either way........turning them in ALWAYS makes them run leaner/rev higher in my experience.

I am sure I am right.

See what you think

You are right. But I have seen cars that are so far up the shit, that NO amount of adjusting the mixture screw helps.

chopper..........there is a chance that this poor guy has my first set of webers that I bought on ebay.............. well at least there is a resemblance in them being so far up the shit that no adjustment works.( and they are in my parts bin anyway)

xu1 six, if you want me to write out a long set up for this , just pm me mate.

Anyone who works on webers has his own way of "black art"tuning these things.

Cheers
