I have posted up some pics of the 2008 FOSC at Bathurst.
You'd be forgiven for thinking only Toranas raced
Cheers

Yeah, I didn't get any pics of BMW's sorry, but I do have a pic of the purple Charger.
I only got pics on the first day, as things got busy the second and third days. The road didn't get swept overnight, so we got showered with rocks on Sunday till we commandeered a broom off the fireys.
I went looking for others, but there is generally nobody around when we go up the Mountain, nor when we come down. At this track we don't come down for lunch, it is just too big, lunch got bought to us.
Cheers,
Pat.

The pic of my location doesn't do it justice. We could see the pits, Mountain Straight, Hell Corner, and Murray's Corner from our vantage, and into and out of the chase, but not the chase itself.

I've been into photography for a while, next time I'm going to go for a proper press pass so I can get in a bit closer to the action...actually stuff it, next year I plan to race at this event !!
Did you meet my mate Bob (stocky bearded guy) he was flag marshal on the last corner before the straight.
I did meet David, he's the driver of the only Hatch that was there, number 76, I must thank him for supplying me with tools after my cars fuel pump asked for a "belting" before it worked again !!
Cheers

Get it right the colour of the Charger is Magenta!!!!! We all know it is purple but Michael Hibbert states and gets upset if it is called anything except Magenta so I suppose that we had better go along with his warped ideas!
A copy of the charger one would be great and I could then print it off and give it to him at the HTCAV meeting tomorrow night
cheers and many thanks

Mmm, weekend was fantastic. Still recovering from it all.
Other flaggies??? There are 30 flag points at Bathurst, minimum of two per point, making over 60 flaggies all up, and came in all sizes, shapes, and degrees of hairiness. While we were all friendly to each other, didn't get to meet them all, although seemed to know half of them. Half of Canberra seemed to be either driving, flagging or officialling.
Robert, do it. There were requests all weekend of photographers requesting permission to cross the track, etc. We even had one alongside us at the flag point for a race.
We were at the flag point that kept getting stoned (from rocks off the course). Track wasn't road swept Saturday night, so we were wearing debris Sunday morning. You'd feel the rocks before you saw them. We stole a broom off the firey's. Have to commend the Bathurst Council, they sent up a road sweeper at the lunch break, which started out our point, but did two complete circuits of the track. Now that is responsive.

Looks similar to a mates old car from Toowoomba that I drove in his wedding about 20 years ago, especially with the 12 slotters on it. How long have you had it LXChev366 ?

Regularity is where you race yourself...you nominated a lap time for a set amount of laps...closest to it wins. What the hell is regularity anyway.. I have never bothered to ask ????
