Has anyone ever flicked through old magazines and thought to themselves, I wonder if that car is still around? Well looking through the latest AMC tonight on page 122 I see a black Torana with flares and the silver SLR5000 down the sides. Now, someone else here may remember, but would I be right in thinking this car was in Street Machine back in either the late 80's or very early 90's? I'm sure it was some guy with long hair named Gabby or something like that who owned it at the time? Does this ring any bells for anyone and does anyone have the Street Machine or remember it? Is it the same car?

I'm just wondering about how I would go posting both articles on here now. I've slipped a quick email off to find out.

Girlie boots and stretch jeans = female
But then again, lots of misguided males were wearing them back in the 80s as well :o

I still can't believe they had real street cars in Street Machine back then.
