5 year USA deal and this track isn't even finished yet.I reckon the whole thing is about trying to go global so every chance this will happen.

I don't watch it anymore, its boring as batsh!t.....
I watch Bathurst, but thats about it....
I wouldn't mind seeing it going back to the group A days.....or at least to a situation where there are differences between the cars.
At the moment its all nose to tail all the time which doesn't really float my boat.
Exactly my thoughts.

Tell me if there are any parts on those cars that are even close to factory Holden or Ford parts.
The grill?

i may have misreadDoes having a V8 really matter? I like to see other makers try to beat a V8 with their turbo 4s and 6s.
James
but i don't believe it's called turbo 4s ' 6s and v8 supercars.
people have to realise that this category came about as a business decision
and business is all about money.
while bathurst will never be the same it is in my opinion still one of the best races in the world
it is very difficult to live in the past and not accept change
but for all you people out there who struggle
count yourself lucky that you still get to see the old cars that we all love
in the touring car masters,
and i hope that this series continues to grow in popularity along side V8 supercars
don't live in the past , appreciate all great motor racing for what it is
prompted coz some of these comments really piss me off!!!!
leave V8 supercars the way they are and form a new category 0f 4,5 ,6 diesel, petrol, turbo, electric, and we can call it
the australian le-mans series

Well said dave it really gets my blood boiling some of these negative comments about v8 supercars i have been watching them as long as i can remember when i first saw brocky racing toranas and commodores and still enjoy the lastest racing much to some peoples disgust if you dont like it go and taking up knitting you big girls
iceman haha!! thanks barry!
just annoys me that most of the comments start with i haven't watched for 11 years
or however long
my god lads
sit on the lounge , turn on the TV and open your f%^^(en eyes coz you have been missing some of the
best motor racing you could possibly witness
touring car masters unfortunately is missing one word
nostalgic!
while i love it 's still after all the cars of the past
could you imagine if we were still made to watch the cars of the 30,s for instance
if you don't watch it don't then how can you be critical ?
