One hitch --- will be heading for Bali this weekend (6th) but if you are still in the area on the 21st when i get back, feel free
PM your number if you are
As for the car pictured i saw it around christmas heading south on a trailer in Canarvon -- Nice rig and looks the goods
Happy travels

He definately is suffering some traction problems i think he needs some minitubs anyway he did a good job on respraying the roof on my cruiser and has invited us for beers on any Friday arvo after 3.30
If your ever in Exmouth i would recommend dropping in for a chinwag as he is an enthusiast just like everyone on this site .I told him to get off his arse and join the forum so we will see.

I told him he should join the forum as it is a great place to research everything Torana and get good contacts.
We had a great chinwag and he did me a good deal on respraying the roof on my cruiser. If your ever in Exmouth call in and see him as he an enthusiast that because of location has limited contact with carnuts.

The power went out before raceing started so they did a whip around at the bar and got$200 together up for grabs for anyone to to get on the burnout pad and when i say pad i mean the size of a postage stamp unfortunately only 2 cars got on both fords but very entertaining.
Went for a drive today out to a town called Point Sampson right next to the major iron ore port of Cape Lambert population would be less than 800 i reckon anyway spotted this hatch in a driveway
The owner's name is Chas and he has had the hatch for about a year got it for his 50th very tidy car he is about to fit some thermo fans to it and was unsure on setting them up i explained to him that he should get online and join our forum as all facets of repairs/mods are covered.
Anyway here are some more shots of his car

I ended up catching up with "SWARBS" last night for a few beers in Karratha and we both told each other lots of lies, only joking he has got the best security on a beer fridge i have seen for a while .
Swarbs has just got to finish his bathroom renos and his torrie might get the rooflining fitted - Hey Swarbs the old girl would be perfect for members projects and plans how about it?
Anyway we pulled out of Karratha today and staying in Port Headland tonight then we're off to Broome via 80 Mile beach keeping an eye out for Torries but they seem pretty thin on the ground up here

Was great to put a face to a forum member finally
Sorry the stay here ended up rushed as there is a lot to do and see here.
The Torrie will definatly be going on proj and plans but as i said just need the place to do it, meantime i will be chipping away at getting the gear i need (wanted -- 1 clean grandad car like everyone else)
I dont know what you are going to do once you get out of the state as those Emu Exports arn't gettable anywhere East of the border.
To the forum members , the man doesn't mind a beer and bullshit session -- ha ha
Big hi to Julie and the kids.
Happy travels -- stay in touch

Pulled into Broome this morning after staying in some great places the last few days ie 80 mile beach and Barn hill topspots.Hopefully i wont get run out of town as i allways say if you cant stay out of trouble just dont get caught
Anyway no torries yet but i have just met a lovely grandma from NSW who is the full revhead who is cruising this great country on a fully sick Oz trike check it out.
It has a 1600 vw engine stroked to 1930 and i reckon it looks FAT
Haven't been to Bali Hai resort yet i might have to have a shower first

Andy isn't at Bali Hai at the moment anyway. You might run into Dan at a pub, though... He'll be the one behind the guitar.
If you get a chance, go for a look at the Stairway to the Moon. Pretty awesome looking phenomena.
