Also notice at the end the car that plows into the kitchen is a cortina not a torana.

John

That mad mission chase scene is cool.

Watching ROVE last night, did they use a Torana in their little cartoon thing for the Egerton Brothers? There was a yellow SLR looking thing flash across the screen...

Yeah mate, i saw it too. Was only on screen for about a second. Yeah- SLR with flares etc.

Also (slightly off topic) did anyone else see that gif at the top of your 'My Ebay' page that was there for a couple of weeks recently. Black/ Yellow SLR rumbling across the top of the screen getting chased by a couple of other cars, then it falls in a crater. Didn't let me save it.

Its real funny in Running On Empty as the torana at the end gets hit and the doors just fall off and i mean all 4 doors just come off and drop...

jeez jake that pic is hard to look at...sweet car tho! :spoton:
ive seen that movie too, years and years ago.
theres an slr5000 in "the fj holden", when theyre at the brickies and the cops rock up and start fining/defecting people.

a couple of days after reading this, i was at a drs appointment in melb, collins st and there was a cd shop over the road, with new copys of fj holden dvds for 10$ good for a laugh i thought, missus and kids didnt think so though. theres a cool big poster of bonds l34 rally car in his bedroom. i wonder if they still ave them.(poster shops i mean)

in the early years of home and away there was a slr 5000.
If memory serves me correct the character "roo" was being hassled at night by some "yobbo's" who had the torana.
the character "adam" came to her rescue and jumped in there torana.
this was the character adams introduction to that show.
