Just another thanks to LX5008,
Besides showing his own fantastic cars, he has allowed us all to see all the cars on show,
not only this year but previous as well. Those that aren't there will want to go, and we that were can relive a great day and spot a few we may have missed.
Great stuff.
Cheers
Muz

I'll agree with that mate. I've seen a few in pics that I missed on the day.

Good evening all
What a great weekend had by all & a huge thank you must go to Mick,Graham & the Hunter Valley Torana Club. It has got better every year and it will continue to do so into the future with so many Torana's coming to Newcastle every year from far & wide across this land. I had a wow of a time with all you all this past weekend even if Herne woke us up at the crack of dawn with his EXTREMELY LOUD  but that didn't deter us from having a great weekend and show. I thank you all.

cheers Keith (White Knight)

Baz and Simmo were two of the guys I had the pleasure of catching up with on both Sat and Sun. Good blokes both.

As above, hope the trip back goes well, and well done for making the effort to come down in the first place. :spoton:

And it's easy to win a trophy when you've got the only example of a model there :P

Congrats on the trophy! A win is a win! :)

Thanks mate, though 3 other guys told me I'll have competition next year. Might have to tidy the old girl up a bit. :P

Herne, you're another guy I never made it over to, apart from the quick hello at the registration tent. Next year mate. :spoton:

Congratulations and a BIG thank you to the HVTC for another great Toranafest.

It was great to meet and also catch up with the forum members. I would of talked to a lot of forum members at the motel or on the day but didn't realise that you were forum members too... I'm planning on making a few mods to my Torana and many thanks to the people who gave me advice. I was wearing the Victorian Torana Club shirt & cap and was more than likely asking about your Torana's brakes... :P

I'm looking forward to next years Toranafest already. It was a 2102Km round trip for me and I don't want to know how much I spent on petrol, but it WAS worth it!

Cheers,
Brett

WOW !! What an awesome weekend. I am burnt, tired, recovering but most of all I am overwhelmed by the amount and quality of cars that were present. I managed to catch up with quite a few of you guys and even missed the QTCC winning "Best Club Display" as I was too busy yapping to Chris. It was great to cruise with a few of you as well. Thanks to Road Knight and Evil Sim for the taxi service around Newcastle, and to Ando, Darren and Colin for ferrying me to and from Brisbane. Very much appreciated. Cruising down the highway in Ando's SS Hatch with Led Zep blaring is not something I will forget, nor the looks from small town locals as Darren and I burbled past in the Moffat Hatch..... Awesome stuff indeed.

I think the best part of the weekend for me was actually meeting the people from here in person and having a yarn and a laugh. Thanks for taking the time to have a chat guys and I sincerely hope it wont be the last time. I know I'll be back next year, that is a definite.

Anyway, here are a few photos to drool over (I know Herne will be drooling over one in particular :spoton: )

Um, theres about 400 of them..... not dial up friendly.......
