The front looks stupid as without the Bumper.
And ditto with the rear.. Don't do it!

Bumperless works alright... Needs a bit of work around where the bumper would sit to really work though.

That purple UC is done right on the back, the red UC isn't, but you can make them look right without the bumper. I find it hard to believe that it handles better without the bars... they weigh f*ck all but i'm willing to be wrong.

The bumpers may not seem like much but they are the extreme ends of the car. The more weight removed from either extremity of the car the easier it will be to rotate through turns. Im no expert in handing and weight distribution but i noticed improved handling.
I was running a set of 17's that were relatively light with low profile tyres

Having the bumpers off would probably save like 20-30kgs? Not all that much, but can add up if other stuff is gone too (lighter weight wheels, Racing seats etc etc)

taking them off would also no doubt change the way the chassis railer interact with each other

I agree Ben, especially on a really nice done up/modified street car. Looks like the owner has spent way too much money on the car and has come up short in the purchase of the front and rear bumpers.. hahaha

Here's a really nice UC hatch going for sale on ebay. Really love the hotwires on this hatch, don't know why they just look great. Probably because the ride height is just purrrfect.

P.S Toranamuk I saw your Torana for sale on ebay not long ago. It looked still pretty similar aswell.

if you were selling the car, colour photos would be better in my eyes...

Haha good find. Post some more pics up Ben

P.S I couldn't honestly tell that was black and white, I'm so colour blind, I can't tell the difference between lime green and yellow, Navy and purple, and all that shit. Lol so I see that pic as sorta like grey I thought the car was a silver/grey

Spotted in Maryborough (Vic). Not saying it's good or bad, the guy sitting in it said Shannons say it's one of two factory disk brake rear end UCs left.
