Mello, all the rice boys recon a twin set up spools up faster than a single for similar flow capabilities.....

But last time i checked a single turbo had less inertia resisting an increase in rotational speed than twins.....

I think thats similar to what Mick is working on.

Cheers.

I'm still in love with Monaro's.Sorry guy's,Torana is second place overall in my heart.Ever since I was a kid in Mackay. My step brothers both owned one.One was quite the streeter, the other I remember going & picking up with them to be coverted into a race car.The be all & end all of Australian classic muscle cars.I once had a chance to buy a stripped back shell of a HG for $250.No bull!!But I had at the time,Commi,HT & HG.No Room..Oh well,a hatch is almost as good....

Bloody oath! That'll excite anyone! Looking tough mate!

Dont mean to be rude, but are there any particular reasons you didnt opt for twin turbos over the single?

The turbo I'm using is enough for 800-900hp. It's the same turbo thats used on the TUFCAB yellow VN commodore thats been raced at heathcote lately with a LS1. It spools at 3000rpm on a standard port 13B rotary so should spool a lot earlier on a 350 ci V8.

Got the 50mm blowoff valve welded on. Now just gotta stop looking at it and pull it out for some of the welding to be finished and ready for painting.

Hi guys haven't posted on here for ages but thought i'd put up a pic of my new set with a BW S480 turbo and going efi. New intake is a edelbrock Victor E with a Proline Race Engines billet elbow and wilson 90mm throttlebody. Cost me a fortune but looks sweet and fits under a standard bonnet. Car is only got to get the GTS strips and clear on it and it'll be going back together. Moving from Bundaberg to Mackay isn't helping anything either.

I sold it to a guy in brissy and he has it all running in a HX kingswood. Was told it goes well but no track times yet. Finally moving into a house in Mackay. Probaly be a couple months before i see the monaro again but it'll all be painted and interior done by then so i'll be pushing to get it up to Mackay and put back together.
