do you know what happened to the blue VK or the red and yellow ute?
Not sure are they the ones that had accidents of a costly nature?
if so, one car destroyed itself whilst doing the legal burnouts, flywheel or something like that let go and could have taken the drivers foot off but I believe all is good with him now after a quick trip to hospital.
And one car caught fire around the tail end, presumably against whilst doing the legal burnouts but he appeared in the Supercruise and seemed only in need of a new paint job

I did notice an XR falcon that was all charred around the back end too

That was Peter Grmusa. was during the burnout masters on sat. raw methanol coming out of the pipes lit up the rear tires. also mark dallaqua had a nice bbq in his green escort. fireies used 9 extinguishers on it

yes it had a lot of mods to that, not my thing but the job was well done. It had BA/BF falcon headlightshow much bling has that monaro got... not my thing give me the black one any day

Im a big 2 Door fan but TBH there was alot of 2 Doors there
i got 200+ photos but missed alot as people where everywhere around cars and i wasnt waiting
there was Dyno and Burnouts to see.... we where close as you could get to the Burnouts and shit my ears where ringin
my mate got alot of video footage will put some up when i get it

Thanks Craig, even more evidence of why alcohol should be banned at the Nats and why illegal burnouts should be also be banned when the crowd can get that close to a car on the verge of being out of control and I dont care who the driver is.
The day there is a serious accident will be the end of Summernats as we know it and who will be to blame? Us entrants will for doing the burnouts - quite rightly too.

I have some pics here from the nats, i only just got home so theres only a few photos on computer however i have another 200 at home. some toranas in photos are members cars.
not a torana but a bit sore around the bum
I liked this car as it looks the same as mine when i first bought it
gmh torana car, swore it had show plates day before?
I know its a ford but i like it
VK went too hard in burnout comp, it met the fence which did not move but the vk did
James was happy to chat bout his cars and jump in for a photo, top bloke
