Except with the MoPar forum. Its doesn't matter if you own a VH R/T Charger or a base model CMor even a Chrysler Galant or a new 300C, if its a MoPar its a MoPar, and in the religion that is MoPar, dissing any MoPar is an act of heresy.

Oh, and the Rolla forum, i haven't seen any Rolla bashing.

With both forums its about the badge, the car, helping each other and sharing the same enthusiasm.

That said, I am an Australian and enjoy a bit of fun, but i'd rather pick on the person than the car.

unfortuantly us UC owners do cop a bit of shit by some members who feel the need to degrade us and our cars, they dont have to like the same things we like but we dont need to be put down because we love our less popular model Torana.

It never really used to bother me in the past but latley its starting to get on my nerves, due to people bagging out what I have so much.

there are plenty of cars here that are not to my taste but I do not feel the need to tell the owners everything I dont like about their pride and joy.

in all honesty I dont spend anywhere near as much time on this forum as I used to because of this reason, and I would feel the same way if I did own a more popular model.

I might not quite understand everything that uc owners have to deal with but i own a sunbird and i cope shit cause of it. But at the end of the day its still a torana and i still love it so no matter wat people say or think (even if i get angry) its always going to be special to me.

I am also lucky ,as I have not spent time or money on mine . But can see that , if the reverse had applied ,I may take it more to heart (if I had one) .For those that know no better , and have never driven one ,they drive and feel exactly like every other Toranas I've had !

Unless you swap the opel or starfire for something else :tease:

we have to budgies, the UC's original but nothing on Tweety is original these days. Anyways a 4 cyl LH Torana is really no diff to a tweetybird, all stamped Torana.

i own a uc an it haden been driven for 2years bought of a lil ol lady that had it 28years an still licenced an drove it 200k home an could not belive how good it drove my mate has lh an that heaps rougher to ride in .the uc they grow on you i love mine now

yea about same age she drove it across nullabour 3 or 4 times it has done 390,000 k with same motor in it shes a gem most probally payed a bit much for it but they needed money

For future reference, flares are not an SL/R thing, they're an L34/A9X thing.

Somehow today whilst hiding inside online out of the cold I managed to end up on the wikipedia listing for Holden I'm thinking all of the UC devotes will like the picture selection they choose for representing Torana's http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Holden :blink2:

I'm really begining to dig the UC look.

Its a Torana tht doesn't have that cliche Torana look... something different.

Only issue is needing a E.Cert to get a V8 in there.

at first i hated the uc but with time an a bit of work their preety sweet
heres mine with... flares *waiting to get hit with something*
The bobtail on the back makes the lights look so much better too
never really liked the front spoiler on them tho
let me know what u think
