Your right Heath,
the tape did come from Glass 4 Classics.
It came with all the new glass for the Torana.
Regards Mando.

My rubber was half gone when I replaced my glass. I rang glass for classics and they offered me the tape (don't know why they don't supply it with the new glass kit) I just used a semi flexible sikaflex as well as the rubber . It should be able to be removed in the unlikely event that I ever have to replace my window glass again.

I ended up fixing mine earlier this week with some Sikaflex too (needed the car on the road). Heath - thanks again for the offer to pick up some from your good self, but for now, I'll see how my repair holds up.
By the way - in case there are any adjustment experts reading - both my front windows don't glide up and down easily (and never have) - despite my best efforts to play with the adjustment and re-grease everything. I think this is probably why this particular window came loose in the first place - just the added stress of always having to lean on the winder with really firm force. I'd love to get them adjusted and operating effortlessly - but they have me stumped. For example - if I wind the window down, it'll get half way then go really tight. If I hold the glass with my hand and encourage it backwards (forcing it back hard into the rear bailey channel), it then glides down the rest of the way easily (the window is wanting to lean forwards and nose-dive). The adjuster responsible for controlling that front dive is max'd out. Has anyone experienced similar before?
