hi fellars, it will have a modified ss hatch, but made my way, and there is 2 ways i can go with the grill, one is hand 2 over to my jewler mate, or i can have the light serounds and grill made into one fibreglass peice.

there is no dobt that these things can be sorted out, the only thing we need to remeber when building a car like this is that the first answer is not always the best one,,,..

cheers gong

So true John, Most of the time the first idea is allywase the worst for the fact that you have put little thought into it and have not assesed all the options... My 2 cents on the grill would be to just lengthen the standard LC grill, dont go with a fibre glass grill. That would look WAY out of place.

I would go for a modified HK Monaro instrument cluster. Make one from two. I like the idea of a speedo that is 4 feet long and goes to 280mph.

Remember we discussed the front panels?
Split near the swage lines and keep the centre sections intact and just push em forward :D
Then fill the gaps with sheet.

Grant..

PS.Mob died a while back - could you PM me your number again.

Hi John,
Plumdinger is still in storage. Once the shed is up I will bring it home. The shed slab is done, just waiting for the shed to turn up.

I actually went searching for this one John, Have you finished the 71 Bathurst yet? We, well maybe I, want to see progress pictures on this one again, its just too good an idea to let slip away.

Cheers Paul.

Thats a shame, best let this disappear into the abyss, Thanks Gong was a great idea, and hopefully the fella that bought it will continue the project on in here.
