^^^ Good question. I'd be very interested too.

With 300FWHP to get that time/mph you would need a wet weight around 2500 lbs (1100kgs) so its theoretically achievable.

of course its theoretically achievable.its not that major of an achievment.its also not rocket science.its never been dynoed either, just trial and error and it weighs as much as a lightened but unbutchered LC 2 door weighs.theres more in it, just no quarter mile within 8 hours drive to test at, since our local track here in adelaide shut down in dec 2005. that combo ran 7.20 @ 93mph for the eighth mile, always seems to lack top end.

i have a magazine which it was featured in from years ago....
very impressive what you got out of the combinations.

this car changed my veiws on the little 6's
top work Posted Image

i would love to pic your brain on the suspension setups tips/hints you have.
i am very slowly between work comittments, kids etc
finalising my 186, tripple webered, trimatic with a borgy.
it made just over 300hp & 300ft lbs on the engine dyno N/A.
it wont leave the line like yours did (or still does?) but should still hammer.

actually i am hoping for similar times to what you have posted for the N/A runs.

now that we may have established my details aren't [b.s] can you explain how low 12's at 108-109 mph equates to 11.1's please.

because it makes more than 300 @ the fly.
i can punch those details in there into all the calcs ive found and it all says 290 @ the wheels.

im not doubting this anymore ive seen and heard enough, but the banjo holding up is very surprising.
