This is gonna sound like a rerun for me, but one of my friends who is in the same study course as me is getting married the day before.... thats officaialy a hattrick... one friends marrige each year without fail on the nite before Toranafest.... I must be running out of single friends by now....

Josh, as keith already said mate, lpenty of people heading that way, im only taking the missus with me so spare 3 seats (although the wheels do scrub if 2 many people....lol) but yeah your quite welcome to catch a ride.

I'm sending my entry off tomorrow and will bust myself to get the LC there (it's currently out of rego). On top of being a great show Toranafest also serves as a sensational excuse for an old pacific hwy detour

Also, entries rec'd after this date are NOT guarantee'd a Toranafest T Shirt!!
Timings for the day are:
Gates Open: 7.00am (we will be there from 6.00am
All entrants in by 9.00am
any clubs wishing to have their cars grouped together, please call me ON THE DAY with numbers. That way we can set aside an area.

well just moved to the central coast,i am posting my form tomorrow,just need to fit my electronic dissy as the twin point dissy seems to playing up heaps,broke down 4 times driving from sydney,not happy,but will be ready for newy....

Well it's only a few days before the big show and I can tell you I have been busier that the preverbial one legged man...
I can tell you that, due to last week's accident, there has been a huge increase in interest in this year's show and I expect that the media will be there on the day.
This post is just to give everyone a heads up about the day..
07.30 � Entrant registration
Those who wish to turn up a little early, thats fine..
09.00 � All entrants in show
12.00 � P. Brock Tribute �Gentlemen Start your Engines�
This will consist of a 30sec - 1min "rev up" of all the cars.
12.30 � All voting forms handed in
This is crucial so we can tally up the votes
14.00 � Auction
Bring your money along as we have a few items from Rare Spares to auction off
14.30 � Trophy Presentation
15.00 � One minute silence
This doesn't need to be explained
Those with trailers, etc will be taken care of as we have the car park dedicated for this purpose. That way no one will get in trouble with the boys in blue..
Forecast for Sunday
Fine and mild day. Variable winds.
Newcastle: Fine. Min: 9 Max: 22
Should be a great day, whether wise
For those that are entering on the day, remember that it is $35.00. If possible could you have the correct money when you come through the car park. Also, we do have a limited number of Toranafest T shirts, so it will be first in, best dressed for those entering on the day.. For those that have pre-entered... you guys n girls are ok!!
If any clubs that are coming up wish to have their cars displayed together they NEED to let me know who and how many cars!! At this stage all I have heard from is the NSW Torana Club.
Also, all cars will be parked on the grass.. I would advise ppl to bring some shade, etc as it will probably be a warm day so you better "slip, slop, slap.
Oh, Pat.... I was asked if you guys from Canberra were coming this year seeing how the price of petrol is dropping??
