Hi Guys,
I am looking at the possibility of purchasing an L34 in Qld. I believe it is the Bob Jane vehicle that had a body shell replacement very early in its life.
Could someone please confirm the No's are correct & any additional information on the car would be appreciated.

OK ladies and gentlemen, a quick review regarding this thread.

86er (a new member) asks for confirmation regarding an L34 on 04/04/2010. They state, "I am looking at the possibility of purchasing an L34 in Qld....."very ambigious & opened ended question" that does not commit the member but invites answers from GMH members to put their reputation on the line to validate or deny the authenticity of the car, (which could become a legally binding contactually issue in litigation/court procedures should that occur in the future).

Not much happens until 8 months later when SebringL34 replies on 07/12/10 (after joining 2 days earlier) and then the thread comes alive.

It goes off into different directions but has the original question been answered?

And who is prepared to put their name and reputation on the line for unknown member/s when they haven't personally inspected the car.

Something to think about.

This car is was it is, and the buyer/market can determine it's value and authenticity.

Enough said.

iam glad i dont own it (24c) reshelled twice makes it a replica now... and its not the haves and have not grant..i know what i have
just stating the hard facts 24c is a collection of date stamped components all tucked into a 1973 shell
may explain why it has a 73 date coded steering rack!!!

ever heard the old saying "jealousy is a curse" and nice giving someones car sxit thats not here anymore to defend himself hey climb back under your rock!! daz has been coping this shit from wxnkers like you ever since he got the car because he did what nobody else did brought it!! and because it turned out to be something special the green monster comes out you can say whatever you like doesnt change the fact its still 24c weather its reshelled 20 times and while im at it what do you have??

where in my posts have i bagged or mentioned Daz???.......no where have i done that, for your pighead information i to was a friend of daz and was shocked and very sadden by him taking his own life, i to suffer from depression and it was a wake up call for me when he killed himself, I used to ring and get calls back for daz and he would always shy away from the fact the car did not have its prime shell any more,I will say what i want on this subject and no bully boy will change my view of the car just being a replica, did ya here that!!! a replica a replica a replica...what all you guys have to do is realise that the 24c and daz are no more,daz does not own the car somebody else does!!! so your attack on me is un called for.as i said on this forum 5 years ago there is a car on the coast a 8/72 adelaide car that does have its prime shell, i have seen the rego papers with colin bonds name on them, it also has a little message on passenger floor saying "Congrats you have bought a HDT race car" and as beening jealous i dont think so...and bnullitljv8 if you call me a rock spider again i will sue your sorry arse of you and thats a promise ya wanker

anyway the original thread starter is within his rights to be upset with us as lots of replies are not relivent to this thread mine included!!
