My Guess would be 13.59ish. Just to clarify Reaction time does not alter you ET as it is just a measurement of how you react ie. it is time taken between the green light and the start beam being broken. Therefore it does not actually get added to you elapsed time as many seem to believe.

Interesting thread man. I had a 4 door LX with 210hp atw with a 2800 stall trimatic and 3.5`s. Best i ever got was a 13.39@102mph on 205 michelin pilots. I would say you would be around that time but around the 106mph mark being a manual and bit more power.

I`ll say 13.5@106 in a perfect world :D

Reaction times won't affect your ET.

The biggest drawback to a competitive time will be the 3.0 ratio gears and the street tyres...

If you can get it off the line I'd say a 13 is on the cards... Personally I think it will run around a 14.0, mph around the 102-106 mark.

If he's running street tyres then the high diff ratio will aid him. If he had a low diff ratio and street tyres he'd be less likely to get traction.

G'day Lads,
No I haven't yet been to Heathcote. Mainly because I did a lobe on the camshaft so I had to rebuild the motor. Because of this I've been told to wait till I've done 5000 km's so the motor will be fully run in. I'm trying to get to the 5000 km mark as quick as I can but what with work & high fuel prices it's been slow. I'm taking the torana to the muscle car masters next month so that will clock up about 1200 km's. I'm guessing around Nov but will keep you posted with updates.

run em in like your gunna drive em later i reckon!

mine copped a dyno tune after 200kms on the donk and will be drag raced with about 600kms on it

dedicated drag cars dont get run in "properly" so to speak so it will be fine mate

by the way i reckon a 13.84
