what does A9X and SLR 5000 stand for

Where did you find the above?

Has it been verified anywhere that the R is for racing and not rally?

Or could it have been used as both?

I just recall hearing both versions over the years.

surely it was twin turbo Red.

nah didn't need it with tha NOS

It's in the brochure and somewhere in a parts book from memory, but it was on all the posters in the dealerships at the time too

I think I recall reading Sports Luxury / Rally in The History of the Torana magazine, if I can find it I'll have a check.

I was led to believe that the A9X prefix was regarding All 9 Extras , apparently the extra optioned vehicle had 9 extra options, anyone know what they were? or was there more in the optional "Sports Package" than nine?

At least i have one to pull Baron in fact I,m that lucky if i get tired of one i have another.
While we are at it whats the price of eggs doing lately ,i got some free range farm fresh ones yesterday for $3 per doz

You should have bought a dozen outer control...
Works out cheaper than body deadener and fan belts.
