Thinking of blasting the hinges I as they are pretty shitty. Going to replace pins and bushes, however I am concerned about the round roller that hold the door opening position. is it metal or plastic. I don't want to destroy it when it is blasted

I know its an old thread.. But is there any special way of removing the old pin??? Or is it as simple as bash the underside with a big bloody hammer until it budges?!?

Hi Kudu.  I can't remember how I did mine but don't recall having any major issues.  I think they just tapped out.  Hinges were off the car which made it easier. Cheers Ron

Yeah cheers. i got the FBH out and there was not much issue getting them out. I always like checking to see if there is a way to do things with finesse before using brute force!.... :D
