just looking on Pinkys site & found there is another car show on Newcastle foreshore on the 18th Sept. Rockers & Revheads

Is this going to clash with Toranafest???.

I am finally going to enter this year, after 4 years of looking.

Yeah, it's stuff like this why I am going grey!!

The council did a double booking on the Foreshore area and it has been sorted..

They look like moving Rockers and Revheads across to Horseshoe Beach area.

One things is for sure, It will be another "full house" in the Foreshore on the Sunday!.

just a quick update...

with just under 2 months to go, we have 104 entries so far! That's about 25 up from the same time last year..

Also, we finally have the new Toranafest Website up and running.. You can check it out here;

All, just a reminder that if you want to go on the Toranafest Saturday afternoon cruise could you please e mail me so that we can get some ideas of numbers.
Last year it was a great sight as 57 Toranas made their way into Newcastle.
This year we are taking a slightly different route that wil see us well clear of those dreaded traffic lights.
All Toranas are welcome so lets see if we can break the 100 mark.

With the VIPs flights confirmed we can now advise departure times.
The cruise will be leaving the motel somewhere between two and two thirty and should take around 1 hour driving time in total.( total time depends on how long we want to stay at the parking area)
The parking location should provide a great opportunity for those wishing to take photos.

I will reply giving further details to those that wish to attend. Hope to see you then.

also as i dont have a rego'd car would anyone be able to able to take me in their car for the cruise.i'd really hate to miss it.ill ride in anything except a uc :stirpot:

Nah it's cool, it's 50/50 whether my car will be there anyhow. It would be an experience to see so many Toranas cruising together though, would love to be able to join in one day....

keith have you fixed that front bar of yours?
i can get you one of mine or get yours fixed but we'd have to paint it white which still doesnt look to bad on a white and black car.
what do you reckon?

Yes thanks mate but I have been extremely busy with some very private matters that unfortunately have given me some heart stress.

I've gone close to throwing in the towel over these matters :surrenderwave:
